It does. Youd expect it to sound like our fellow nordic neighbors languages. In fact, its not even indo-european language. It belongs in the finno-ugric language family. Its very old language, it roots from far far away. It has stayed among our native people because of our isolated location. While everybody else were influenced by their gypsy indian indo-european languages, finnic people kept their own. Our language contains also some very old germanic words that have arrived here long time ago and which have stayed the same because of so little linguistic influence to our language. Finnish is very hard language to learn for english speaker, since its hardly related to it, I wish you good luck
