I have learned that there is nothing that I can write on here that come close to expressing who I am in, so I wont try. Instead I will just try to say some nice things.
If you have gotten this far down the page (not a challenge), then thank you. This site to me is a refuge, a place of expression filled with the conversations I wish I could find as easily in our everyday life.
It’s charm separates it from social media and creates a sense of community.

Looking for actual conversation
that being said "hey hows it going" or something along those lines is a perfectly acceptable  way to start a conversation. i would say that the majority of my non-online conversations start that way. i don't judge based on greetings. saying more is cool too though

i also don't get offended by swearing. seems like everyone is super polite on here. so just putting it out there, if you feel the need to swear, go for it.. like who gives a  ***************?

would be great to talk to people interested in backpacking or travel in general. want to hear all your stories
