Well hello there, I'm Tom, and I'm always up for meeting new and interesting people. It's a large part of what brought me here, the hope I might find some novel people with novel experiences, people who are happy to share and willing to teach.

Once upon a time I had a pretty uneventful job. It paid well, but the stress and long hours and the ethics of the business made me absolutely miserable. So I quit. The toughest thing I've ever done- walking away from security.

For now I mostly travel, take in as much of the world as I can, experience as many things as I'm able, living off savings, writing, creating, and enjoying a simpler, less complicated life. I count myself lucky.

I'm open to anyone who has something intelligent and insightful to say, or just needs to vent : )
