Heey I'm Rich (or Richard, I don't mind)
Ahoy! Okay so I'm 23, and an Engineering Officer in the Royal Navy. It's a pretty awesome job, I get to experience a lot of things that most people will never get the opportunity to, but it does have its downsides, namely not having quite so much free time as I'd like! I suppose it does come with a nice uniform though!
Aside from the engineer in me, I'd like to think I'm a chatty and approachable person. I'll pretty much chat to anyone at all, though if they're into music or cars then I may get a little carried away!

Anyone who is really nice to chat to, I'd love to make some really decent friends from different countries. I've met some really brilliant people on here, so I'd love to keep that going. I'm not great at languages, I know a bit of German and that's about it! But I would like to learn (if I get the chance!)

My main aim is to get a few really good friends, people i can talk to about all sorts of stuff, through whatever kind of mail really.

All sorts of things:
Playing my bass or trombone
Listening to a rather ridiculous amount of music
Ice hockey (when I get chance to play)

Right now the Navy seems to have me convinced that fun activities include ironing, polishing and cleaning, definitely not so much fun!

Waaay too much to list, but I particularly love stuff that i can play along to, so Bloc Party, Kings of Leon etc
Band of Horses are my favourite band at the moment, but it's summer so I'm listening to a hell of a lot of acoustic stuff. That and classical, being a bit of a band geek I do like a bit of that, especially more modern stuff like Ludovico Einaudi

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is easily one of the best movies ever, or anything by Guy Ritchie for that matter, but it might just be an english thing
