Hello, hi, greetings, salutations, whatever. One of my many names is Robert. If you can read this, then I'm like you, an English-speaking human. I study illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design because I decided a young age that I wanted to make no money as an adult. I'm probably a skeptic, but how do I know? How do we know things?  I do have my emotional moments between my perpetual stoicism, so don't be shocked if we have a blast at a party, drinking petroleum and spontaneously combusting and then then next day finding me cloistered in my room, writing petty thoughts in my journal, hunched over my guitar.

ANYWAY, let's get to the point: I just want some international friends interested in turning  the good'ol "heyhowareyouI'mfineandyou" into something more profound insofar as it becomes, I don't know ... INTERESTING.

So please, please, please, please, please, por favor, bitte, s'il te plaît, consider this for me before sending your poetic little "hi" or "hello".

Also, I'm very interested in bettering my French, so native speakers, I would be more than ravi de vous parler.

By the way, people who suffer from solipsism, beware. If you are narcissistic and tend to centralize conversations on yourself and/or your exploits in life, don't bother. I like to talk to people who have a sense of humility in what they do and who they are. Presenting yourself condescendingly to others speaks insecurities to me anyway.

And yeah, lest you think I'm contradicting myself with this terse autobiography of mine, I'm aware my profile has narcissistic attributes like selfies, but when you really think about the purpose of an arbitrary online profile, aren't we all advertising who we are anyway? Don't you want to get the attention of the random passerby? You wouldn't message me if I posted a picture of myself as a homeless person masturbating in the corner of your niece's bedroom, would you? Didn't think so.

Whatever, I have the absolute intention of making myself look like a self-centered jerk. I've always hated sarcasmé. Irony sucks!

I'm on this website only to make friends, NOT flirt mindlessly with whichever man/woman/life-form I come into contact with. For the most part, I just want to skype with you. All I ask is to be down-to-earth.

Salut bande de taré. Je suis un mec de 16 ans et j'ai vraiment beaucoup de difficulté à m'endormir la nuit. À vrai dire, je crois avoir ce problème depuis maintenant quelques années, mais pourtant, j'ai comme l'impression que c'est à cause de mon obsession par Fight Club (le personnage principal est insomniaque à titre d'information). En tout cas, je vous demande tous de regarder mon profil de plus près, car c'est là-dessus que vous y trouverez pas mal de "selfies" et de dessins que j'ai fait tout en m'ennuyant tout seul dans ma chambre, mais attention, je ne suis pas narcissique ! Je n'ai pas trop de photos de moi-même que j'aime d'ailleurs..  Bon, quant aux filles, comprenez-moi bien, de mon point de vue, ce site a de gros cons partout, vu le nombre de gens qui sont portés sur toutes les femmes qu'ils peuvent trouver.. Cela dit, j'ai un petit message à leur faire passer : LES FEMMES NE SONT PAS DES OBJETS SEXUELS.. PUTAIN. MERCI. .. heu.. De toute façon, après avoir dit tout cela, changeons un peu de sujet.. tout ce que je veux, c'est me faire des amis puisque je n'en ai pas beaucoup chez moi. Comme je disais, il faut que vous soyez interessant(s).. et gentil(s). Je traite les gens comme ils me traitent sinon. Je refuse de parler aux gens qui commencent par "comment vas-tu/allez-vous" ou "ça va". Et pour ceux qui ont déjà lit ce qui est écrit en anglais ci-dessus, c'est à vous de découvrir pourquoi.
