That's fine! I've been busy myself and just came back from a trip to the Netherlands (improving my non-existing language skills in Dutch). When are you graduating and what are your plans after that?

I wish I would be fluent in English. My speaking skill is not good and it takes me a long time to find the right words. My English got way better when I was in the US 5 years ago for 3 months. Since then I'm trying to go back but moving 2 times didn't help saving money. So I'm hoping for next year. I know I could also go to the UK to improve my English but they speak different and somehow I prefer the american way. I'm still planning to go back to London for a couple of days this or next year.

Since you mentioned the second world war: I believe that history is really interesting and important - especially the second world war. There are still people who believe that everything is a joke and they call us germans nazis. I recently got a message interpals and there was a person who said that I'm a Nazi and other names and stuff from the second world war. I didn't respond to those messages but reported them instead. I'm so far from being a Nazi and just because those bad things happened in german history doesn't mean every german person supported them. People should get their facts right. We still have difficulties from the second world war regarding to racist actions although the government don't want to see it. One of my friends is German (her dad is African, her mum German) and people call her names cause her skin was darker and told her she isn't german.
Another example is the flags. In the US it is normal to be proud of your country and have your flag outside of the house. If you do that in Germany with a German flag people will probably call the police cause you're a Nazi (just for being proud to be German). I guess when people here on vacation they don't really get the feeling that we still have problems from that time but we do. Sadly enough.

The games before the World Cup weren't good and our defense was bad.. I don't really like FC Bayern but the players are still good :-P
Spain was horrible! I have no idea what they did there! Sadly I didn't watch the game against Netherlands :( but well.. the goals were good though :D

Schweinsteiger definitely did a good job! Wasn't expecting it that good after his injury. Then he played and hurt again. But he was a fighter and I'm glad he was :)

But Messi being the best player in the World Cup? Are you kidding me? More than half of Germany was laughing at that decision (and the others were either infants or didn't watch any game). I mean he wasn't that bad but he was definitely not the best player!

To be honest I wasn't that optimistic about the german team but they did it! Which is really great :) Good thing is I had two teams in the World Cup (Germany and the Netherlands) so there was a bigger chance to win^^

I don't now what is wrong with those guys.. They start a conversation with "Hey beautiful, you gorgeous. u have a bf?" and of those guys already asked if I wanna marry him.. I'd prefer those messages you get :D
