hi, in regards to travel suggestions , I recommend the Balkans, including Romania, Hungry and Bulgaria also the Baltics from Poland all the way to Estonia than Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan , btw I been there between last year and this year .

I can recommend Frankfurt or Wiesbaden as near travel destinations, Frankfurt is an international city so people can speak English there! Next weekend I wanna visit Heidelberg & Darmstadt, they're pretty too & not far away from Kaiserslautern! ;) Right now there's the pretty offer to use public transport for 9€/month, it's also nice!
