About Me
hey,
As you will some time see from my photograph, I am
an african. To be specific I am from Cameroon. Do you
know Cameroon?Infact a friend of in Greece wrote me
and when he just got to Greece and introduced himself
to a classmate as coming from Cameroon , he was asked
wether Cameroon was in South America. It sounds funny
doesn't it?Anyway I don't find it strange if someone
know's little or nothing about Cameroon. What have we
got to offer compared to the western countries?
Nevertheless, we are proud of our very rich flora and
fauna, our culture and our enormous touristic
potential. We are also blessed with natural mineral
resources and export crops such as coffee and cocoa.
For those who are football fans , you can not afford
not to know about Cameroon.
One other unique aspect about Cameroon is
that we have a dual colonial heritage from Britain and
from France. Thus Cameroon happen's to be a bilingual
country with English and French as our official
languages. Another aspect of legal interest that flows
from this dual heritage is the the bi-jural nature of
our legal system in which the common law is applied in
the english speaking part of Cameroon and the French
civil law system is applied in the french seaking part
of Cameroon.Nevertheless there are certain aspects of
harmonisation of laws.
It is a pity information tecnology is
still very limited in Cameroon and I can not do much
to give you links about Cameroon.
I have much more to say about Cameroon but
this is not the appropriate forum. If you wish to know
more about Cameroon, you can
contact me. I  will even be pleased to to welcome you
to Cameroon during any summer vacation, where you can
sun bathe and enjoy our touristic sites at almost no
cost.
Back to myself.I'm dark about 1.63m tall resident in
Douala the economic capital of Cameroon.Teacher by
profession.I teach Mathematics in high school.I've
being teaching for the passed 10 years.I like
meeting and making friends from any part of the
world.If interested write back.
Cheers.Daniel.
