I love dogs... I like people, but I like my solitude as well. I'm happily married & looking for people who are like minded to become online pen pals. Would prefer those who are interested in writing more than just once or twice. Having said that, I'm sensitive to the fact that friendship falters because there isn't enough common element to keep it going....

I'm interested in connecting with male & female of all ages around our increasingly small world. But most people think I'm not..... Do I trust those around me OR do I trust myself? I guess a little of both. I truly believe that men & women can be firm friends without the complication of the 'you know what'.

I just don't get Hip-Hop & Country music somehow always make feel sad.

Running Man, Total Recall, True Lies, Notting Hill, My Best Friend's Wedding, My Fair Lady, Blade Runner, Emma & all kinds of period movies (ie. Jane Austen, Henry James, etc), various Chinese Kung-Fu movies (eg. Iron Monkey, Fearless, The Myth, The Emperor & The Assasin). All Agatha Christie movies, and all kinds of documentaries & foreign movies.

Seinfeld, CSI, Law & Order, House, Big Bang Theory, World Poker Tour.

Mysteries - Never could figure out the plot, but enjoy it just the same.
Sci-Fi - Could really lose myself into it....
Trashy Romance - Excellent way to 'escape' & a good reminder that real life is not a romance novel. No one can survive that kind of drama!
