About Me

Born in Holland, I live and teach in China at the moment, which I enjoy a lot (most of the time anyway :P)
Before China I studied ancient languages and cultures of the Middle East, as I have always been interested in history.

This is very much in a nutshell of course, but hey feel free to ask ;)

Also...for those who at least take the time to read through the first part of my profile:
1 when you message me, pls write a little more than just 'hello how are you'...a little creativity pls, as conversations like that don't really go anywhere most of the time..

2 don't ask if i'm married or looking for a bf after 2 sentences
3 don't ask for my skype or whatsapp after 3 minutes

I'll probably ignore you if you fit point 2 or 3...

Requests

I would like to meet people from basically anywhere, as I'm always interested in getting to know people from different cultures :)
Improving my own skills in certain languages or helping someone else would also be nice of course

Language Exchange Requests

Actually there are so many languages I would like to learn (or improve!)
Japanese has always interested me, but since I live in China atm I should probably focus on Mandarin..
But I also wanna improve my Hebrew! Or learn Farsi! Argh!

Hobbies & Interests

My greatest passions are learning languages, traveling, drawing and writing stories.
especially traveling...(best trip so far was to Iran, OMG what a wonderful country!!)
second favorite is still Israel (I don't care if they are enemies, I love both haha)

I admit, I'm also kind of a nerd.. (I like anime, fantasy and science fiction lol)

hm...difficult to say, I listen to all kinds of things. I guess if I have to list a few, it would be Arabic, Hebrew, Korean and Japanese music. But I also like the occasional (goth) metal and OSTs.
