Hello! My name is Jessica and I was born and raised in California. Right now I am living in Sacramento and studying Anthropology. I hope to work as a full time archaeologist one day. We are a poor and dirty bunch, but us archaeologists love what we do. With that being said, I do have a great interest in travel, history, religion and languages. If anyone shares those interest, please, talk to me. I could use some stimulating conversation these days! Right now I am learning German, so if any German speakers feel like offering their assistance, i would welcome it with open arms (Helfen Sie mir bitte!). I had the pleasure of visiting Ireland a few years ago. It was an amazing experience, but I do hope to do more travelling one day. In the mean time I will try to make use of this  pen-pal thing.

Reading, Archaeology, Geology.. I love the physical and social sciences, so anything that falls under those two categories is pretty much a given. I also enjoy playing video games from time to time ( Dragon Age, Skyrim, Drakes Uncharted, God of War..). Right now I am starting to get back into sculpture and pottery to pass the time. It is relaxing and messy, and fairly inexpensive once you get a tool set.

I also really enjoy being outdoors, but because I am new to the area that I am currently residing I really haven't been out much. After I become more settled, camping and hiking will hopefully become one of my more frequent activities.

Oh, and I like cats. Cats count as a hobby, right?

I am entertained by most movies. I know that probably makes me seem like a tasteless and uncivilized person, but it is just the truth lol.
