Hello! I'm Caitlin, I'm a bit of a swot, (nerd?) I have space posters and geography graphs hung around in my room. I have a million penguins too, and michael jackson posters.  I love reading, prose fiction and hisorical novels, and poetry. Currently I'm in sixth form (college) and I've just finished my AS exams, and beggining my A2 work already, A-levels are so hard! Hopefully University afterwards, If not work to save up for it, because it's so bloody expensive.
  I'm a bit obsessed with having my hair done, getting it cut or styled is one of my favourite things to do...
   I'm 17, (18 in October! :D) and I really love being British, specifically English, I'm a true English rose (and I mean complexion), really pale and red cheeks. Hence the name. I can be pretty shy, but I'm working on it. Drinking and alcohol isn't a "fun" thing to me than it seems to be with everyone else around my area. Northumberland is the county where I live and it's beautiful, I live in Blyth which can be quite rough, but it has a lot of heritage (it was a famous port for submarines in WW1 and WW2)... see I tend to ramble on a bit.
   People are too superficial for my liking, and I'm a bit of an introvert, but mainly for the sense of not wanting to waste my life on government benefit like a a lot of people round here do. I love sports, badminton, football (and I mean FOOTBALL, not bloody Soccer, what a stupid name, we bloody invented it), cricket, rugby (when I'm brave enough), netball and hockey. I really want to try lacrosse and fencing. I'm also a brown -white stripe belt in Karate, and I love BIKE RIDES XD.
   I really love Geography! I want to study physical geography and travel the world and help the planet, I know, how typical, but tbh if our generation doesn't fix the planet. who will?
I reckon I have written enough for people to get a good idea of who I am, and what I'm like, TALK TO ME :)

I'd love to speak to people from Germany, or whoever else who can speak German, I'm trying to learn it fluently... GERMAN SNAIL MAIL ANYONE? :)
and people from other countries too, teach me a few words eh?

I'm very open minded. I have many favourites, but Tess of the D'Urbevilles is the most beautiful book I've ever read. OHH, and the Luminous Life of Lily Aphrodite and Jane Eyre, of course The Da Vinci Code blew my mind. Dorian Gray is quite intriguing too, you can definitely sense Oscar Wilde's sexual orientation subtly hinted in the book, I loved it! How controversial at the time ;)
