I will love to write that it is both, if you have the skill to create ideas and a supporting skill to adequately umplement the idea, then you rock.
This is one singular trait of high achieving entrepreneurial individuals, both in business, politics or academics.
In business people come up with ideas that refine already existing ideas, top-up existing ones or create disrupting ideas all out of a busy creative mind, the great minds fine tune it and put it into actions by creating it in real life.
Most successful ideas did not just come up from the owners of those ideas for the first time, they come up due to the minds that are capable of executing them, execution they say is key…
In Politics, you execute what you have planned from the onset, make it useful and you are an acclaimed winner and almost everyone wants to elevate you to a higher political office,
In Academics, creating an idea is as supreme as executing the same idea. Research is borne out of busy creative minds, empirical studies are concieved and ultimately executed, papers are written of ideas that was implemented.
Who says ideas dont rock? The consequences of the execution of those ideas rock most. This is essentially what changes the world.. they call it disruption, a lot of thinking out the idea, and a lot of acting out its execution made it happen.
Think it out and make it happen.
