Well I'm actually a deist which means I believe in some kind of superior intelligence but not in a particular God.
I'm sure it's impossible that earth would have been made out of mere randomness. There has to be something or someone who/which controls everything. And I don't think we can interact with them, I think he/they is/are something uncontrollable who/which likes to have fun watching us humans living our poor life. I mean we've studied the probability that the factors that made life possible on earth would have been gathered in science (like perfect temperature for liquid water, stable core, rich elements...), and this probability nearly equals 0 !
