Well that really depends on what sort of things you like. This October from the 9th to the 15th I plan on going to NYCC (New York Comic Con) which is a huge comic/anime/manga festival type thing. People from all over the country come for NYCC since it's one of the biggest conventions on the East coast of America. It's a bit pricey to get into, what with hotels and ticketing, but it's really worth it if you're into that sort of thing. They have Japanese bands come from overseas, actors, voice actors, and artists of all kinds at it. Other than that, I'm not sure what may be going on in October, but I'm sure it's easy to find out.
