Hm okay thats pretty handy then :) for me it's always been perfect to fly from Stuttgart to Helsinki. But now there aren't any direct flights anymore from there. So I always have to take the train to Frankfurt airport and fly from there.

I've used Ryanair quite a few times before to get to Finland but nowadays I prefer flying with Finnair. Ryanair looks cheap at first, but they have so many additional costs that in the end it's pretty much the same price than every other airline.
Trier is for sure a nice city. A friend of mine lives there :)
