Still out there? Still Single? Me, too.
I just came across this again. If you're at all intereated, I don't plan to lose it again!
My Big Problem is that my choice is working class guys (usually, byt not exclusively, white) who are Tops ONLY. Most every one of the guys I've "messed with" seem to think that, if one is black and older or bigger, one is a "top," or wants to be --- and the guys are perfectly comfortable, being "bottoms." Trust me, that is NOT me! I am not at all "versatile," or as we used to call it back in The Day, "flip-flop" --- snd that was not in any way complimentary.
Nor am I a "drag queen" or do I have AIDS (alrhough tha r doesn,r s w em ro be the "Death sentence" it was until fairly recently). I hope that answers any questions you may have on that.
As for as substance abuse is concerned, my only abuswd substance was alcohol. I never used any of the others --- not even POT! --- more out of fear than anything else.
I go to three or four AA meetings most weeks, and am pretty active in my Episcopal church. I think that everyone knows my "story," though.
Anyway, it's very late here now, and I'm really not a Night Person. So I'm gonna stop now, and get back to sleep. Hope all is well with you!
Take care,
Don

Dam that's crazy! I've only been clean about nine months right now. The only sobriety I've ever known though. It feels good!

Hey there, regular guy--I'm the very definition of ups and downs but from what you've acknowledge, it'll be mostly up. I got off heroine and crack in 1995 became a social worker and musician (my breath of fresh air) and now life is good. Check in any time if you want. Peace, Richard
