Greetings and good day to you, !

I’m sitting in my family room typing on my iPad. Everyone is out and I love the time I get to myself. Especially now a days. Makes penning so much easier. Easier to concentrate on what I am doing.

I hate to write first letters for they are hard to do. Where to start or what to say? What does the reader want to know or would like to read? Well this AM I decided I will just write or introduce myself. This makes sense for this is an introductory letter. Gee how simple is that. LOL

Well here we go!
I am a married woman who lives in the biggest city of Canada. The fourth biggest in North America. Toronto is well known around the world for its diverse population, diverse communities, highest traffic in the world, CN Tower and fastest changeable weather in the world. I guess I could go on and on but I’m not sure what else add. Canada is known for its red and white colours, mountains, skiing, snow, Eskimos, Arctic, igloos, our maple leaf, maple syrup and being USA’s neighbour.

I use to live in the suburbs but now I live in an urban community even though I have not moved for over 40 years. The city keeps growing and that explains GTA. (Greater Toronto Area)

I now live in a Chinese dominated area. Being white makes my situation a minority even if my parents and I were born in this huge city.

I think the news said over 50% of the people living here now were not born in this country. All sorts of People across Canada come here for all of the advantages the big city has to offer. Being getting more money is one.

My circle of friends is nonexistent now thus why I am reaching out to find more.

I have 2 children already grown in their 30’s. My daughter still is at home And the son married and moved out. But....As for family I don’t want a letter consumed with that subject. I don’t mind hearing the news but there is so many other things to talk about. Gotta love variety.

I/we are currently retired and while me holding down the fort doing the housewife, wife and motherly chores. With most of my free time... My passion is to knit or crafts. I love to create. I spend a lot of time on the net searching for new blanket, shawl and poncho etc...patterns to fit adults, children and babies. I pay for the yarn and give these items to kids as Christmas gifts, or charities or as prizes for organizations to make money. Especially in our winters, it is needed. I’m just glad I can use this old fashioned talent in doing two things at once.
I might find several patterns and inter change them with each other to make one combination. I do like to think outside the box! Last year I also knitted blankets for other charities to auction sell or sell tickets to help their cause.
I post pictures on this pen pal site of what I made. People love to see it. I’m not sure why but happy to oblige. Usually it’s what I’ve knitted or could be something else. Please feel free to check it
