I'm stalking you. No, a few ways:
#1- I spent about a year binging on opiates and watching every movie known to man and writing my own movie which makes no sense until I rewrote it after binging on coffee for two months.
#2- I read the biographies of every director of EVERY movie I've ever seen and I have a crazy good memory.
#3- You say your dad is a director, and you have Boyz N The Hood as one of your films listed.
#4- I remembered that John Singleton was from LA originally and directed a fuckload of good movies. ...and I he wrote higher learning....great movie.

IT's a little odd but I sort of had a hunch. LOL.
